Sorry, gotta catch up!

We have been on the move and quite busy the last couple of months so we will attempt to catch you up with the highlights of our activities.
When we got back to the farm we were greeted with the usual crowd of friends---
---well some were old friends but this Oriole was a new one and a pest---

---but the rest were here.

Spring was in full bloom---

---and the scenery was beautiful.

Then we took a trip to Maine to see our daughter and Son-in-law who had moved to a local park---

---where they are to be Camp Hosts for the summer.

We had time to visit---

---and hike to the top of a "small" mountain.

Our daughter has gifted feet as well as hands.

Well we are back on the farm again and guess who is back?

Of course my sister had her "honey do" list which included a new cap for the chimney and a couple other things.

Then it was off to Aurora, Colorado to visit the other children and grand children.  Jake is becoming a good opponent in cribbage---

---and Grandma and Mahlia had their serious games as well.
We were blessed to be able to meet our son for breakfast before he went off to work.  Then it was off to Sunshine Bible academy.

We were greeted with a lot of new life---

---and pretty ones too!

Then it was off to work.  Wiring needed to be modified so the cook didn't have to stumble through the electrical supplies to turn on the light to the freezer.

The dirt pile which is to become the new football field and track was getting pretty weedy so it is time to hook up the chisel and knock them down.  The only problem, when I hit the lever to raise the chisel all I got was an oil shower so it was off to town to get new hoses.

The new dorm supervisor had a very small room to live in so it was decided to cut a hole through the concrete block wall and add another room to his---

---and there is always something to sort and file.

The library ceiling was at eight feet but fire code says there must be two feet between whatever is flammable and the ceiling.  They must think all of those books are flammable!

Hooray, the team is here to make the football field level.

This is one hardy geranium.  I got it for Billie's Mothers Day a year ago.  While we were in Truth or Consequences it got frozen twice.  Since then it has bloomed almost continuously.

After putting the third window in the old gym (we put the other two in last year) the only thing left is to finish the inside wall.

I know that somewhere up here there is an electrical connection I can use to connect to the new projectors.  Eventually I found it and mounted the projectors to the ceiling grid.

On a local slew the loons love to make their home and raise their brood---

---and there must be some fish in here as there are always pelicans here.

Well the walls are finished and the grid is  back in place at ten feet.  Soon the new shelves will arrive and the process of moving the books all back in can begin.  There is always another month.
PS:  I think I am caught up for now.
