The Lazy-Hazy days of summer

Well we are still "resting" at the farm.  We did complete a couple of projects.

The gazebo is repaired and has a new coat of sealer!

The flower garden is cleaned,

The house got a pressure washing and all in time for the 4th celebration.

Brother Pat and his family came to provide someone to light the fireworks.

Of course, we can't come to the farm without going to the creek and playing in the mud!

Later, nephew Billy and his family came to join in the activities (which is really great for the 4th since Billy runs a fireworks stand).

Everyone got into the action.  The problem with the poppers is some are to light to stomp on them and get them to pop.

When someone needs a little help they can always go to Uncle Pat.

Even the exotic came to join in on the festivities.

A couple of days later we were able to watch one of Sydney's softball games.  When Billie asked her what they played Sydney informed her that they play "fast pitch now".  And of course, the team is coached and sponsered by Billy and Fleek's Auto Sales!

  1. For retired folk, you are the hardest working people we've ever seen. Glad to see you're having a little rest and relaxation from time to time. HAPPY BELATED 4TH OF JULY!
